What does Gold mean?

A RoSPA gold is the highest civilian driving standard available and the holder will operate at the highest level. Gold is only awarded to the driver who shows a consistently high standard of driving throughout the test. The driver will demonstrate a confidence in their ability together with a thorough understanding of the principles contained in Roadcraft and how to apply those principles to situations that occur during the test.

Today we completed the assessment phase of Group Tutor (Motorcycle) training. As a result, we are pleased to recommend six new Tutors for certification by RoSPA. A great result with superb support and input from four of our senior Tutors: Tony, Nigel, Mike and Paul. Well done all.

Yesterday the weather was too good to sit indoors so I went for a 50-mile bimble to Tetbury and back.
