Why do we use musical instruments at Boogie Beat?

Maracas, tambourines, shakers and bells are so much more than fun props - they’re powerful learning tools! Through music and movement, children develop fine and gross motor skills, coordination, listening and concentration and an understanding of rhythm and timing, all of which support early language development.

Our instruments also provide wonderful sensory experiences, encourage turn-taking and social interaction and give children a fun, non-verbal way to express their emotions and build confidence.
