Glenfall Preschool Glenfall Preschool is a Reggio inspired early years setting, we enable children's confidence through Glenfall Preschool is a committee-run charity Preschool.

This means we are part of your community, we love families to get involved and be part of your childs educational journey. You know more about your child and you are their first educators. We can help by using our researched based practice to build upon the foundations you and your child have created together. We are attachment led which means each child is seen as unique and we understand they will settle at our setting when they know us and feel ready to do so. We treat everything that happens at Preschool as an educational process and we do not rush children. We see children as already competent and we learn together. So if you want to join us and learn together to create a happier future with your child then we are the place to come to. Committee run playgroups originally asked families to be on a rota for helping - we don't do this however we do ask for your help on our committee you can give as much or as little time as possible we just need you to create a great community together. Our expert team and the environment they create is funded partly through fundraising 'Quality Interactions' and 'Highly Qualified teams' cost and the more funding raised by the committee the better the environment for the children to learn in. Our Story

Our settings inspiration and approach is based in a Reggio Emilia ideas and thoughts - we see the child as a competent learner and follow their ideas, we listen, we provoke and we observe the child and their ideas, as a team we discuss, evaluate and reflect on the best way to plan and enable awe inspiring learning and teaching. We believe we learn from your child and that they already have some great ideas. At our preschool our environment is key to our approach, we have stories on tap, we use outside all the time (except for when we are eating, unless we are having a picnic), our door is open in any weather (we just wear the right clothes for the weather). We have an outside tap which the children can access and make puddles or whatever they want to with the water everyday. It is unusual if your child comes home clean and tidy however they will of hand an amazing time with tuned in professionals. Most of our resources are handmade and recycled as we promote sustainability, if you can donate logs, pebbles, flour, cornflour, powder paint to our charity run preschool then we will love you forever (if you cant we still love you). We work on the premise of professional love (Dr Jools Page) and we encourage empathy and kindness. You, your child and the teachers work as a team to enable the best start in life and confidence and well-being for the future.

Glenfall Preschool is a community committee-run pre-school for children aged 2 years up until school age. We want you to work with us as children progress so much more when you are on board. We know everyone is busy however the bigger the committee the less everyone needs to do. So come on be the change you want to see in the world and work alongside us for happier better futures.
