Huge to Dr Zoe Goodman - who current students will remember helping on fieldtrips - who passed her on predicting likely impacts of ☀️ 🌧️ on woodland vegetation communities 🌱 using innovative methods today. Zoe combined impressive data handling skills 📊 to produce a truly excellent project; Anne and are very proud supervisors! Many thanks to UoG examiners Chris and and external examiner Kelly Swallow (). Well done, Dr Goodman! 🥳 🥂

What a week for our Biosciences Society!

Our student-led attended the Awards where they were able to connect with other Clubs and Societies, as well as important heads from and Student Union. They got nominated for several awards, and Daniel the President walked away with the “President of the Year Award”. 🥇

Their week only got more exciting when they were joined at Park Campus by the Vice-Chancellor , and the Cheltenham MP to plant a new orchard of trees with lecturer Matt Wood! This orchard will provide free fruit for students to enjoy, and vital habitat for Park Campus’s resident birds, bugs, and bats.

Sometimes you just need to hit pause and do something extraordinary! Great to see and his pals last week. Not quite what we were planning in our anatomy and biomechanics class, but sometimes a little of what you fancy is soul food!
