Dads — your kids don't need a perfect father.
They need one who shows them that hard things are worth doing.
Wrap up and hit the bag this week. That's the lesson they keep.

Courage isn't fearless.
It's the person who walks in scared and stays for the whole class.

Everyone asks us this. So we finally wrote the honest answer. 👇
Is fitness kickboxing actually good for weight loss?
The short answer is yes. But not for the reason most people think.
The calorie burn is up to 800 calories a session. But that's not what makes fitness kickboxing work when the gym, the running, and the other classes haven't stuck.
We've written about what actually happens in the first 6 weeks, why most people stop caring about the weight loss by month 3 and whether it's for you if you're completely out of shape right now.
Read it here 👇

And if you've been thinking about trying a class - we offer a 3-class trial for £25. No contract, no pressure. Just come and see if it's for you.

💭 What if one of the biggest barriers to your growth is the need for everyone to approve of you?
As part of our personal development journey, we're exploring The Courage to Be Disliked 📖 by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga. Inspired by Adlerian psychology, this book challenges us to take ownership of our lives, let go of limiting beliefs, and focus on what truly matters.
• You Are Not Defined by Your Past 🔄
Your experiences influence you, but they do not determine your future. You have the power to choose your path.
• Focus on What You Can Control 🎯
Not everything is your responsibility. Separate your tasks from others' tasks and avoid carrying burdens that aren't yours.
• Stop Seeking Constant Approval 💪
Living to satisfy everyone else's expectations can prevent you from living authentically. True freedom comes from being yourself.
• Relationships Matter 🤝
Many of life's challenges stem from interpersonal relationships. Building healthy connections starts with respect, trust, and contribution.
• Contribute to Others 🌱
A sense of purpose often comes from adding value to the lives of those around us, rather than focusing solely on ourselves.
• Choose Happiness Daily 😊
Happiness is not something we wait for—it's something we actively create through our choices and actions.
✨ Personal growth begins when we stop worrying about being liked and start focusing on living with purpose and authenticity.
❓ What's one area of your life where you could benefit from caring less about others' opinions?

Name a moment when you stepped up.
For one of our members this month, it was the long-term member who slowed down to fix the wraps for a new person on their first day — without being asked.
Leadership doesn't always look loud. Sometimes it looks like noticing.

We get one shot to make an adult feel like they belong somewhere ❤️
Matt takes that seriously.
Thanks to the members who've trusted us with that for years now.

🚀 Success doesn't happen by accident—it comes from the habits we build every day.
As part of our personal development journey, we're exploring The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. These timeless principles help us become more effective in our personal and professional lives.
🔹 Habit 1: Be Proactive
Take responsibility for your actions and focus on what you can control rather than reacting to circumstances.
🔹 Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Have a clear vision of your goals and make decisions that align with your desired outcomes.
🔹 Habit 3: Put First Things First
Prioritize what matters most. Focus on important activities rather than getting caught up in urgent distractions.
🔹 Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Seek solutions that benefit everyone involved. Collaboration often creates better outcomes than competition.
🔹 Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Listen with the intent to understand others before expressing your own viewpoint.
🔹 Habit 6: Synergize
Value diverse perspectives and work together to achieve results that are greater than what individuals can accomplish alone.
🔹 Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Invest in continuous self-renewal—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—to maintain long-term effectiveness.
Small, consistent improvements in these areas can lead to remarkable growth over time. Which habit has had the biggest impact on your life?
