I’ve taken some time to slow down over the bank holiday weekend, and honestly… it’s been so nice to just be still for a moment instead of constantly doing.
It reminded me how important it is to reflect, not just on what you want to improve, but also on what you’re already doing really well.
Be proud of who you are.
And if there’s something you’ve been wanting to start, whether that’s your fitness journey or something that’s been a little scary, this is your reminder that it’s never too late. It doesn’t matter that it’s May… you can start now.
Sometimes all you need is the right support and the right tools around you 🤍

but you’re not going to get along with every Pilates instructor… and that’s okay.
you might really click with one, and not with another
you might understand how one explains things… and feel completely lost with someone else
every instructor teaches differently
we all cue differently, we all see movement differently
and honestly… that’s a good thing
because finding the right instructor for you?
that’s when everything starts to make sense in your body
and I fully get it…
I’m not going to be everyone’s person, or everyone’s instructor
and that’s okay too 🤍

Reflecting on yesterday’s London Marathon has made me realise how far I’ve come… not just as a teacher and instructor, but as the person I am today 🤍
I can’t believe it’s been two years since I ran it myself. A day that honestly changed me in ways I didn’t expect.
Training for it, and getting to that start line, taught me so much about who I am. Not just physically, but mentally too. There were so many moments where I wanted to give up, where it felt too hard, but I kept showing up anyway.
That journey helped me push through so many internal battles and proved to me that I’m capable of more than I give myself credit for.
And being able to raise money for a charity so close to my heart made every single step even more meaningful 🤍
Forever grateful for that experience, and everything it taught me.
