This morning the children in Pre-school participated in the dinosaur fossils creation activity. They looked at fossils from a variety of dinosaurs, we spoke about museums, fossils and how we find them and what size of bones would come from the different dinosaurs displayed. They each used their imagination and creativity to make their own dinosaur pictures.

This morning in preschool, the children had a wonderful time with ice painting using a variety of rainbow colours. Some of the children thought the ice painting looked like unicorn food because of its beautiful colours, while others imagined it as dinosaur food. A few children excitedly declared, "I'm painting it blue and it can be Elsa's Castle made from ice."
Hope everyone’s been enjoying the warm weather! ‼️ ̇vi̇ti̇es

This-afternoon in toddlers the children enjoyed taking part in a sticking activity! The children were encouraged to use different colours of rice to create a rainbow pattern on the paper. This is in line with a current group favourite book “mummies make rainbows”. The children enjoyed playing with the texture of the rice and attempting to pick up small grains with their fingers instead of handfuls practicing out fine motor skills. Well done! 👏 🌈☔️

The children in Pre-school have been creative making their own flowers! For this activity a carer cut out various different shapes and colours of paper and other materials for the children to model their own flowers. The children throughly enjoyed this activity and showed their carer this by great enthusiasm and requesting to make another one. The children were very kind to each other, kindly passing around the tray and glue sticks and also complimenting each others work “yours is beautiful” “I like yours” we also all spoke about our favourite flowers.
