๐Ÿ… What an incredible day at Prince of Wales! ๐Ÿ…

We are so proud to share that Rowanfield achieved a record-breaking 23 medals at the event โ€” an outstanding accomplishment and a reflection of the determination, teamwork and effort shown by all of our pupils.

Rowanfield were placed 2nd overall, with results currently being reviewed. Whatever the final outcome, every pupil represented the school brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

Of all the years of sport at Rowanfield, Mr Harwood said tonight was one of his favourites โ€” not because of medals or results, but because of seeing the children enjoying sport, cheering one another on and showing such pride in being part of Rowanfield. The encouragement, teamwork and support shown throughout the evening truly reflected what Rowanfield is all about.

A huge well done to everyone involved and thank you to all staff and supporters who helped make the day such a success! ๐ŸŽ‰

โœจYear 5 Spotlightโœจ

Year 5 had an incredibly busy and exciting end to last term! We thoroughly enjoyed Sports Week, created fantastic double-page spreads in History about the changing roles of women during the 20th century and even held our very own cheese rolling competition โ€” although our โ€˜cheesesโ€™ were Babybels rolled down drainpipes!

The beginning of this term has been just as action-packed. In Music, we have embraced creating drumbeats using GarageBand, while in Design Technology we have constructed and tested our own bridge designs. We have thoroughly enjoyed our swimming lessons and have developed our swimming skills and confidence tremendously. Alongside this, we have also been learning all about angles in Maths and developing our suspense writing skills in English.

With Residential, the All Saints Taster Day and many other exciting activities still to come, it is shaping up to be a very busy and memorable final term in Year 5!
