Our second day of Bobbitee Play last week was a fun one! Lovely to see some little ones who are not so little anymore and have some younger siblings with us now that we can take 4 year olds!! 🥰
We had another fun day filled with lots of bubbles 🫧(on request for most of the day!), mega block car creating and racing down slopes, lots of creative fun and potion making with coloured water. We added cornflour to the water which gave a translucent effect.
The children then made a potion shop in the playhouse and were selling their home made wares, the poisonous potion didn’t sell too well 😂 They also added bubble mixture to the potion water. We LOVE seeing them come up with their own play ideas 💡 🧠

Bobbitee Play is having a week off as one half of it is off on holiday. But we are super excited to share that we have a wonderful sea themed week planned for when we return! 🥳 🌊
Picture this - a ship full of pirates, mermaids in the calm water, sea creatures big and small, sparkling treasure, chilly icebergs, mysterious maps, treasure chests and much more… 🏴☠️🧜🏼♀️🧜🐋🦈🐠🪼🧊🗺️ 🐙 🦀🐬

The children were challenged with making the dinosaur tuff tray into a dino swamp…check out the before, during and after!

🐵 Monkey Business 🐵
Look at this bunch of lovely monkeys go! Swinging, jumping, climbing and generally monkeying around! Lots of opportunities for physical play at Bobbitee 💪🏼
Imaginations run wild too…one child decided to pretend play being a monkey, by lunch time there were 8 😂 it was hard work keeping them fed and under control all day 😉

It’s really coming together! Our little team of crazy kids along for the ride with Niamh entertaining the babies. This bit went smoothly but the shopping beforehand wasn’t quite so easy 😅🫠
Just a few final touches on Monday. We will be adding potion play, dinosaurs, playdough and a sun catcher craft! 🧪 🦖

Sunday morning was spent at Bobbitee Play HQ! After making sure all surfaces were clean 🧼, we unloaded both of our cars (we still have more to bring!) and began setting up the inside space ✨
Those that have been with us before will notice quite a few changes indoors and outdoors. The school have minimised the furniture in the room and this has given us lots of extra space but also great storage for our toys.

Good morning!
We had a lovely time on Wednesday at the free Play Ranger event at Bishops Cleeve.
The girls enjoyed a Gladiators style duel battle, circus skills, crafts and the babies enjoyed splashing in water and trying to eat rubber ducks 😂 🎪
Definitely worth checking out your local ones, lots of different activities and completely free!
