Hours: 07.30 - 08.45 and 15.00 – 17.30 (or 17.00) Monday to Friday, term time.
Pay: up to £13.21 an hour.

We also have a role 5 mornings, every other week during term time. The role involves making breakfast and supporting our children in play at St Marks Out of School Club (working hours from 8am to 8.30).

Just to reassure you that the shelves were in the hall by mistake and the toys were inaccessible for a short time as the room upstairs that we use is being repurposed next term. We've worked with the school to make an old building comfortably 'multi-use' and are still as 'commitable' as ever to providing 96% satisfactory care for academic year 23/24 😜. Sorry again for any confusion.

Breakfast and After School Play Assistant Vacancy
St Marks Out of School Club in Benhall, Cheltenham provide wraparound childcare for primary school children, aged between 4 –11. We’re a fun, child-led team, supporting children to develop new skills through play, in a safe, fun school environment.
We’re currently looking to recruit imaginative and motivated Play Assistants, who enjoy working in a close knit, inclusive environment.
The role requires ambition for creating learning opportunities through play and supporting the development of successful personal, social and emotional skills for our children.
Full training in Paediatric First Aid, Infection Control, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding is provided. St Marks Out of School Club actively support staff looking to pursue a career in childcare, gaining relevant qualifications and training.
Our opening hours are 07.45–09.00 and 15.00–17.30, 5 days a week during term time. Flexible vacancies are available between 5 and 18 hours per week.
Salary: £5.00 (apprenticeship) - £10.00 per hour, dependent on experience/qualifications. Benefits include: Free place for school age child, regular, relevant training and the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, child empowering team.
