We hope you are all enjoying your summer holidays ☀️.
Whilst you’ve been away, a new member of the Swindon Village team has arrived. We are very excited to introduce you to Trevor, a one year old guinea pig who has been re-homed from the animal shelter. Trevor had been settling in to his new home for the last few weeks, getting to know his new neighbour Bear! He looks forward to meeting you all in September. 😊🥰

Class 10 absolutely loved the Banksy inspired artwork this week. They had studied Banksy’s work, discussed some of the meanings behind his pieces and loved the mystique and secrecy that surrounds the infamous artist.

After designing and cutting the stencils, the children were ‘let loose’ (in an extremely well-controlled manner of course!) with the spray paints.

Unfortunately, you won’t recognise any of the children as their identity is well-hidden behind their masks.

School’s out for summer…

Class 10 enjoyed the SVOS BOOK SWAP SHOP where everyone in the school got to take home a book to read over the summer.

Class 10 had a fab final week at school. First up was sewing!

Class 9 finally finished their Anglo Saxon Money bags and were rewarded with treasure inside! Thank you Class 9 for an awesome year… you have been amazing. Have a lovely summer. Good luck in Year 5! 😊🥰👏

What a wonderful year we’ve had! Class 8, you have been absolutely AMAZING! We’ve loved every minute and we’ll miss you! Lots of love Team Year 3 💜💛🧡💚🖤❤️💙

Class 3 were fantastic today when they visited year 2! Thanks you class 3; we are looking forward to September.

❤️🦋Year 6 Leavers- Farewell to the Garden of Hope🦋💙
Today was the last visit to the Garden of Hope for the year 6 group. We had some lemonade, cake, watermelon and decorated a jar to take home. We finished off with a group photo with Bear, our guinea pig. Good luck to you all, we will miss you. 🥰

The afternoon continued with exciting sprinkles and delicious ice cream cones. A brilliant way to cool off after our exhilarating water fight! 😊
