We had some sparkling good fun in Oak Class! What a great way to learn more about different celebrations across the season - the indoor fireworks were spectacular!

As part of their ‘Super Me’ topic, Ash Class had a very exciting visit today from a real-life superhero in our community. The children prepared for the visit by discussing what they thought a police officer would look like, drawing a picture of a police officer and then coming up with some excellent questions to ask during the visit. The children were incredibly grateful to be able to see inside the police car and particularly loved hearing the siren and watching the flashing blue lights.

Gloucester-Hartpury player, Steph Else joined our tag rugby coaches this morning! It was great to have such an inspirational player supporting key stage 2!

The search for our 2025-26 House Captains is underway! Our recruitment forms are being completed by the candidates and we will be anonymously reviewing the application forms to ensure we get the best team for the role. Watch this space to see who will be leading each house

The fun doesn’t stop at 3:10! You can see teamwork in action for construction club who made some elaborate creation! Great collaboration! We have a range of extra curricular opportunities for children to enjoy as part of our wraparound offer.

We started Mighty Movers with our pre-school children today! It was brilliant! Today was all about balance with games and plenty of opportunities to play on the equipment. Ash Class went exploring today! They loved spending time out in nature and learning outdoors!

We welcomed some new faces to the Andoversford family today! It was lovely to see and feel the calm and settled atmosphere across the whole school - but it was especially noticeable in Ash Class with our new Pre-school and Reception children 😃 Welcome!

Did someone say olympics? This week Willow Class planned a range of Olympic events for Ash Class. They designed and ran each activity and even made their own medals!

Something a bit different for Willow Class today. We finished off our art sequence all about printing by using a chemical printing method. The class were very sensible following all the safety guidelines and we created some fantastic pieces! Great work Willow Class!

Pop to the shops to support the school! Our breakfast club project is currently being supported through the Stronger Starts scheme in local Tesco stores! When you make a purchase be sure to drop your blue token into our collection box!

Throwback to a lovely sunny day last week when Ash Class visited Nature in Art! They had an incredible time visiting the art gallery and all brought home some beautiful creations!
