Bling Your Bike/Scooter!
On Tuesday, our Reception and KS1 classes had a fantastic time decorating their scooters and bikes as part of the Big Walk and Wheel! 🚲✨ We loved seeing the amazing creations from home and were so proud of how well the children worked together at school too.
KS2 children will have their turn this Tuesday, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with!

🦁 Lions Class – Mantle of the Expert🏛️
This term, Lions have been exploring the Anglo‑Saxons through their Mantle of the Expert learning. Working as historians for English Heritage, they were commissioned to help design a brand‑new Anglo‑Saxon gallery.
Along the way, the children have been developing their history, geography, and design & technology skills.
Most recently, our expert curators were asked to create a physical model of a wattle and daub wall, complete with information text, to help visitors understand this important Anglo‑Saxon building technique. An impressive piece of hands‑on learning!

🍪 Run, run as fast as you can… it’s the Gingerbread Man! 🍪
This week Pandas have been learning all about The Gingerbread Man. The children loved joining in with the repeated refrain and exploring different versions of the traditional tale. 📖✨
Today, they decorated our own gingerbread men and took them home to share with families — a very tasty ending! 🧡
They also used our imaginations and asked: What if the Gingerbread Man didn’t meet the fox? How else could he cross the river? A boat? A bridge? 🚤🌉
To investigate further, they carried out an experiment to see what happens when a gingerbread man gets wet… and the children were fascinated as he slowly dissolved and became mushy! Science in action! 🧪😮

Tigers Class is roaring with excitement as they dive into teamwork, trust, and communication exercises in PE!
🐅🤝 Tigers learned the importance of collaboration and how working together can lead to amazing achievements. It’s wonderful to see them building strong bonds while developing essential skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom. 💪✨
We encourage parents to discuss these values at home and celebrate their children’s efforts in teamwork! Together, we can foster a supportive community that thrives on cooperation and trust.
