Lift Crescent View Lift Crescent View is a primary age special school for children with a prime need of SEMH, but catering for other complex needs as well.

We are part of Lift Schools Trust ensuring there is an excellent education for every child, every day. All the children, parents, staff and governors are committed to working together to ensure that every child receives the support that they require. The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming confident and independent learners in a rapidly changing world. We want children to be excited about coming to school and love learning. We want them to be motivated, tuned in and challenged. Most of all, we want children to know that success is in each and every one of them and comes as a result of their own effort. We want to bring it out. We want to give them the belief that they can improve and learn, and to be proud of their many achievements. Our school is vibrant and dynamic. We place a strong emphasis on challenging and supporting every pupil to aspire to, and achieve, success in all area of the curriculum. Inside and outside the classrooms our talented and committed team concentrates on what the children are doing and provides experiences and support to help youngsters to learn. Lessons are active, children work with each other and pupil responsibility for learning is encouraged at all times.

Good morning all,

What a mixed weekend of weather. This week is looking very similar - cold/warm/sunny/cloudy - changeable!
We have a few trips out to forest school this week as well as activities in school in addition to our normal weekly timetable. The children are really getting into the swing of their phonics and reading groups now, setting the scene each day, learning new sounds and applying their knowledge. We look forward to all the achievements this week.

Good morning all and welcome to Week 4.

It is a busy one this week with a fire engine visit this afternoon (if children tell you a fire engine was here, it's all perfectly safe and not fire related - I hope!).
We are in the swing of Forest School sessions with Green and Yellow heading out to Cranham Woods this week - keep an eye on class pages for details.
There are also Flu Vaccinations on Friday which is led by the School Nursing Team.

I go into those in a little more detail in the weekly update - see the link below :)

The weather is all over the place at the moment but a big plea from me to please name any items of clothing that you send in - coats, jumpers, hoodies etc. If they are named we can get them back to the right child.

Good morning everyone - after a bit of a chilly and wet weekend we are back into Week 3.

This week we have National Fitness Day on Wednesday - Children can wear sports clothes however if they prefer to stay in uniform or wear home clothes, that is absolutely fine. We'll have a range of fitness activities going on through the day.

There are a few local trips this week to the Oakley Centre (next door to the school), Prestbury Library (a short walk) and to Cranham Woods. Information will be shared via your class Dojo pages if you need anything.

It was great to get back into a full week last week and attendance was really positive - children are keen to be in and earning their Dojo points!

Good morning everyone,

This marks the first full week of September 2026! We are looking forward to all our new pupils starting with us and were so pleased to see existing pupils arrive back last week.

Each Monday I will post a brief update/overview along with a link to both a short video which gives you info for the week and term and the link to Assembly for the children.
Please do watch the short (I promise it always will be!) weekly update. This replaces newsletters.
The assembly video is very much optional for adults - it gives you an idea of the weekly messages for the children if you'd like to watch.

New uniforms are looking very smart and lots of children are very much taller than they were in July!
