Run Up to Christmas Activities 🎄✨

Over the last few weeks, the children have taken part in a wide range of festive activities as we counted down to Christmas.

Across the setting, children explored lots of different creative experiences, including making decorations, calendars, wreaths and other Christmas crafts, alongside plenty of festive fun.

There were also Christmas parties, a special visit from Father Christmas, festive lunches, creative art activities and edible treats.

A variety of materials and resources were used, and the children thoroughly enjoyed getting involved. They cannot wait to share their creations with you!

Bonfire Night Fun 🔥✨

Recently in Nursery we have been enjoying a range of bonfire and firework themed activities.
The children have:
• Put out a pretend fire
• Created handprint bonfires
• Explored lots of glittery firework art
• Taken part in fire safety discussions
• Enjoyed a themed tuff tray
• Made fireworks using toilet-roll

A brilliant mix of creativity, imagination and learning about staying safe.

Children in Need 💛🐻

Our nursery children had a wonderful day joining in with Pudsey-themed activities — from crafts to play-based learning, all inspired by this special cause.

🌰 Conker painting fun – rolling, dabbing, and swirling autumn colours everywhere!
🎨 Beautiful autumn leaves and crafts
🌿 Autumn-inspired exercises – spinning like sycamore seeds, stretching tall like trees, and curling up like sleepy hedgehogs!
