I just wanted to share with you a photo of a stunning wedding cake that has been produced by two of my students working together. They have attended several workshops with The Creative Cake Academy including Celebration Cake Masterclass, several sugar flowers workshops and also worked with them on colour and design in our Design Masterclass. I am so proud of their work - just amazing.

A photo of a stunning wedding cake created by one of our students for her daughter's wedding. She was not a professional cake decorator, but loved baking and was keen to learn the skills she would need to create a four tier cake. She attended our one day private tuition Celebration Cake Masterclass where we not only tutored her on the 'how-to's' of creating the perfect finish, but assisted on the design. We have been testing out a new formula for hybrid chocolate ganache - this one is using Callebaut Gold, a delicious salted caramel chocolate. The ganache covers a rich chocolate cake with Dulce de leche buttercream filling - the taste was amazing. Just simple decorations as the cake was made purely for trial purposes - it was cut up just after the photo was taken - now the freezer is full of cake slices - looks like we will be eating cake for quite some time!!! What a hardship 😀
