What a fantastic day for our pupils at the South West Regional Athletics Championships at Millfield last Friday!
Our athletes produced a series of outstanding performances across both track and field events, resulting in an incredible number of podium finishes, with pupils securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd places throughout the competition. Their dedication, determination and hard work were evident in every event, and we are incredibly proud of all they achieved.
A special congratulations goes to those pupils who finished in 1st or 2nd place and have now qualified for the National Championships, which will take place in Birmingham on Wednesday 1st July. This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to their commitment and talent.
Well done to every pupil who represented the school so brilliantly. Your effort, resilience and sportsmanship were exceptional, and you should all be proud of your achievements.
We wish all of our national qualifiers the very best of luck as they prepare to compete on the national stage.

π What a fantastic morning our Year 7 pupils had for Healthy Living Day π
Throughout the morning, pupils took part in four engaging sessions covering careers, first aid, personal safety, and outdoor education. One of the highlights was working together in teams to design and build their own catapults, putting their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm as pupils learnt valuable life skills while having fun. The morning provided a fantastic opportunity to develop our 5Cs: Compassion, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Creativity.
A brilliant morning of learning beyond the classroom, with pupils embracing new challenges, supporting one another, and building skills that will benefit them both now and in the future.
Well done, Year 7! π

ππ World Environment Day ππ
Today we're celebrating the small creatures that make a big difference.
During our recent Eco WOW Day, children across the Pre-Prep discovered the vital role bees play in our environment. A visit from a beekeeper gave pupils a fascinating insight into the world of bees, while activities focused on recycling, sustainability and caring for nature. One of the highlights was creating wildflower seed bombs to help establish a new wildflower area on our school grounds, supporting bees and other pollinators. π»πΉπ·πΌ
Through hands-on learning, our children developed a greater appreciation for the natural world and the small actions we can all take to protect it.
π As part of our commitment to environmental education, will be at this weekend, exploring the importance of healthy oceans and underwater sustainability. Visit us to discover colourful coral reefs, meet amazing sea creatures and learn more about the incredible marine life that depends on healthy seas. π
