Wow. So that has been a crazy year and so far a crazy start to this one. It's been a long time since my last post and yet it's felt like a blur!

Firstly I hope that everybody out there is keeping safe, looking after each other and finding the joy in the everyday (I know how hard that is atm!) I am lucky that I have been able to continue lessons with quite a few students virtually and that so far the progress that we have been able to achieve is still fantastic!

I have vacancies for students who want virtual lessons, so if you're looking for a music or drama tutor, then please don't hesitate to get in touch!
Any age, any ability and a variety of instruments or styles: Piano, Guitar, Bass guitar, Singing, Drums, Ukelele, Mandolin.

Good afternoon you lovely lot! I know it's been a while since my last post and as I'm sure we're all feeling right now, it is a crazy crazy time.

However, this is an opportunity. Take this time to do things that you would normally not have the time to do.
See that instrument unused in the corner?
Now is the perfect time to pick it up and have a go! (obviously don't try to pick up a piano - I can't be held responsible if you put your back out).

I am offering all of my lessons as video calls either via FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom you name it so what are you waiting for! I already have a few of my current students who are continuing online and it would be great to see some different faces in these trying times.

Get in touch if you are interested and as usual I am always available to answer any questions you may have.

Brilliant first session on Piano with one of my students this morning and a musical theatre fan as well, lots of fun to be had learning different shows!

My message for today is fun.

Having fun is key to all music and what we do. Music and performing is and always should be about one thing and one thing only and that is having fun.

If you’re not, if it feels like a challenge that you don’t enjoy taking on then what’s the point?

Whether you want to sight read, improvise or just play and sing, it should always be about expression and enjoyment and that is the key to all I teach. If this sounds like something you want to find then don’t hesitate to get in touch, any ability, all ages, it doesn’t matter. This is your journey in music and I am here to help you develop and most importantly... enjoy it! ☺️ 🎵 🎹 🎸 🎤

A fantastic first session on guitar for Rory and Leo who have gone away already able to play the intro to some Nirvana, they’re definitely naturals! 🎸 🤘

It’s been a fabulous sunny winters day, a gorgeous sunset and perfect weather to get cosy and play some music! If that sounds like something you want to be able to do but aren’t sure where to start then get in touch, I have 6 students signed up now and still plenty of vacancies

The sun is shining and the tank is clean! (Well it’s quite grey actually but the tank is still clean) I have 3 people signed up for lessons already which is fantastic! You have to ask yourselves, what are you waiting for...?
