We had lots of fun cooking this morning with our first cooking lesson with Cook Stars! The children had lots of fun making chocolate brownies! At Christ Church Pre-School we like to provide lots of different activities for the children and so this along with our weekly music lessons with Gill, provide a fun filled enriched program for all of the children! We are looking for a Pre-School Assistant, term time only, until July 2024, with a possibility of continuing into September. We are looking for a Level 2 or 3 qualified practitioner to join us! The hours are 17.5 hours (Monday – Friday mornings) with the possibility of extra bank hours in the afternoon to cover occasional meetings/staff absence if wanted. This position would be to start ASAP.

You must hold a full and relevant qualification and be creative, caring, enthusiastic, eager to learn new things, not afraid to get messy, be a great team player, inspire others, be able to sing with the children (even if you can’t sing – don’t worry, we can’t!) and be able to use your initiative.

A good knowledge of the EYFS is desirable, a passion for working in early years is essential and experience with SEN would be beneficial but not essential. We offer a good rate of pay, a supportive team and encourage further professional development.
