✨ Supporting early childhood development and sharing parenting guidance.
✨ Coordinating Stay & Play sessions, celebrations and community events.
✨ Encouraging families to share their child's special moments through the Famly app with photos, videos and observations.

🦋 From Tiny Caterpillars to Beautiful Butterflies! 🦋

What an incredible journey our children have been on over the past few weeks! 💚

Using our Insect Lore caterpillar kit, the children watched in awe as tiny caterpillars munched away, growing bigger each day before climbing to the top of their pots to form their chrysalises. With plenty of patience, excitement and daily observations using magnifying glasses, the magical moment finally arrived as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies emerged, ready to spread their wings and be released into nature. 🦋✨

Inspired by everything they had discovered, the children explored their creativity by making colourful caterpillar and butterfly artwork, using toy insects as stencils and natural resources to create caterpillar body patterns. Our Investigator children also explored symmetry and learnt all about the fascinating process of metamorphosis, developing their understanding through hands-on play and discovery.

To continue our love of nature, we also took part in the Big Butterfly Count, grabbing our binoculars and heading outdoors to see how many butterflies we could spot. It was a wonderful opportunity to encourage curiosity, observation and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

Learning comes to life when children can see, explore and experience it for themselves – and this has certainly been one unforgettable adventure! 💚🌿

🌟 Friendly Faces Friday 🌟

Behind every smile, every story, every cuddle and every milestone is an incredible member of our team. 💚

That's why every week we're introducing you to one of the amazing people who make Dean Close Little Trees Nurseries such special places for children to learn, play and thrive.

From our Early Years Educators and Room Leaders to our Nursery Managers and wider support teams, Friendly Faces Friday is all about getting to know the people who care for your children every day.

We'll be asking a mix of fun and thoughtful questions, so you can discover what makes each person unique. You might find out who loves spending time in nature, who can't resist a Sunday roast, who enjoys getting creative, or what first inspired them to work in Early Years.

Although their answers are all wonderfully different, one thing always shines through... ❤️ their shared passion for children. Every member of our team is dedicated to creating warm, nurturing environments where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to explore the world around them.

Because when you choose a nursery, you're choosing the people who will laugh, learn, celebrate milestones and create lasting memories with your child. We think they're pretty amazing, and we can't wait for you to meet them too!

👋 Join us every Friday and say hello to a friendly face 😀

As another wonderful chapter comes to an end, we couldn't be prouder of our incredible Investigators at Little Trees St Arvans. 💚🎓

Our graduation ceremony was filled with smiles, laughter and, of course, a few happy tears as our children sang their special farewell song, celebrating the friendships, memories and milestones they've made along the way. Watching our families beam with pride was a reminder of just how special these moments are 😍

For many of these children, Little Trees St Arvans has been their second home since they were just 9 months old. It has been a privilege to watch them grow into confident, kind and curious young learners, and now they are ready to spread their wings as they begin their exciting school adventures.

This celebration also marked a heartfelt farewell to one of our wonderful team members, who has been such an important part of so many children's journeys. Thank you for the care, dedication and love you've shared over the years. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you every success in your next chapter. 💐

To our amazing graduates, remember you'll always be part of Little Trees. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things you'll achieve.

Good luck, Class of 2026 – keep dreaming big! 🌟💚

💛 Happy International Day of Friendship 💛

Friendships made in the early years are often the very first relationships children build outside of their family – helping them develop confidence, kindness, empathy and the social skills they'll carry with them for life.🩷

Across our Little Trees nurseries, we create nurturing environments where friendships can blossom at every age. Whether it's babies sharing smiles during sensory play, toddlers learning to take turns, or preschoolers working together to solve problems and celebrate achievements, every interaction helps children build meaningful connections.🧡

Through play, shared experiences and the support of our caring educators, we encourage children to be kind, inclusive and respectful, helping every child feel valued and part of Dean Close Little Trees. 💙

Here's to the laughter, teamwork and lifelong memories that begin with a simple friendship. 💚
