What a lovely little moment ❤️🐾📖

Today, one of the children decided they wanted to read Mia, our therapy dog, a story.

Mia settled herself down beside them and listened very attentively! 🥰

It’s moments like these that remind me just how special having a therapy dog in the counselling room can be. Sometimes feeling safe, calm and connected can begin with something as simple as sharing a story with a four-legged friend. ❤️🐾

I think Mia rather enjoyed story time too! 📚🐶

🫶✨ GCSE RESULTS DAY! ✨🫶

To everyone receiving their GCSE results today — take a moment to recognise just how far you’ve come 💙

Whether you’re celebrating the grades you hoped for, feeling disappointed, or somewhere in between, your results are not a measure of who you are or what you can achieve. ❤️

🌟 Be proud of the effort you’ve put in.
🌱 If things haven’t gone to plan, don’t panic — there are always options and people who can help you find the right next step.
🚀 If you’ve achieved the results you wanted, celebrate your success and look forward to what comes next!

There is no single route to a happy, successful future. Sometimes the path changes, and that’s okay 🥰

Your GCSEs are a milestone, not a definition of your future. 💛

Wishing every young person the very best today. 🍀🙏🏻

Good luck to everyone receiving their A Level results today! 🎓✨

Whatever grades you open, remember:

🌿 Stay calm: Take a deep breath and give yourself time to process the results.

✨ Explore your options: Clearing, apprenticeships, alternative courses and different routes can all lead to incredible opportunities.

💛 Keep perspective: One set of grades does not define your future, your potential or your worth. There are so many different paths to success.

Be proud of how far you’ve come — and remember, this is just one chapter, not the whole story. ❤️

Good luck! 🍀🎓

Today’s transition session was full of fun 🌈

We spent time chatting about the summer, moving to year 7 and decorating delicious biscuits… which, of course, were enjoyed afterwards too! 🍪✨

As Rosie-May has just completed Year 7, she joined me to chat with a group of Year 6 pupils about the exciting transition to secondary school.

They asked the most brilliant questions – from what actually goes in a locker? and what does it feel like to wear a blazer every day? to the dreaded homework… and, of course, the all-important school lunches! 🍽️🎒

Rosie-May answered every question with such confidence, honesty and maturity, while being careful to explain that every secondary school is different and everyone’s experience is unique.

It was a lovely opportunity to help ease some of those pre-September nerves, and seeing the children’s curiosity and excitement made it even more special. 💙❤️💜🩷💚

Here is one of our Year 6 Transition Groups 🥰

This is a supportive therapeutic group where children can share their worries, feel heard and understood, build confidence, and develop coping strategies as they prepare for the exciting transition to secondary school. 🫶
