Hello all! 😊
Science has now proven the multiple benefits of meditation... and meditation can take many forms.
🌈Are you taking the time to spend a minute with you? Last night as I wrapped up my stretch class the comment was "wow, I just spent a whole hour and I didn't have the capacity to think about anything else!"
🧚♀️There are many ways we can distract our brains and get respite from the constant mind chatter: It could be from a beautiful walk in the outdoors, to a lovingly prepared meal, sitting by the fire listening to the crackle of the logs, holding hands with a special person... anything and everything that center's you daily, brings a smile and joy to you and also gently quietens the noisy clamoring of our mind.
💐If in doubt breathe in and out!

It's International Women's Day Today!
I say; it's a day to celebrate our awesomeness, woman have magical abilities, and are totally amazing in so many ways!
We have the ability to bear children, see what others don't, do what others won't , but also the strength, power, resilience, and capacity to shape the lives of those around us!!
One day we will have equality! We deserve it!

Are you caring for others needs at the expense of your own?

I can honestly say speaking from self experience here, that I have been there, leaving myself behind. Not taking care of my wants, needs or desires for fear of upsetting someone, fear of it not getting done "right".
We were raised to think we should always put others before ourselves and ignore our own needs—that having our own needs is somehow arrogant or selfish, and not a nice thing to do.
I can also say that it feels like you have zero energy. I was constantly giving to others and there was never any left for me. It left me feeling resentful and angry.
I share this because when take care of ourselves too, we become way more pleasant to be around, we are satisfied and have feel a sense of freedom to have fun and enjoy this one precious life we are blessed with.

“Life happens for us not too us” 😀👑
⚡I love this quote because it’s really important how we perceive life. We have the power to choose the lenses in which we see things, circumstances and events in our life as “good or bad”, “positive or negative” but there is another way of looking at it.
⚡It’s much more expansive if we can convert anything and everything into a gift or opportunity. When we see life, events or circumstances as a gift - there is nothing to fear in life because if something “bad” happens you can turn it into a gift.
⚡The law of attraction states what ever you believe will come true.
In my experience of feeling burn-out, overwhelmed and exhausted, unsatisfied and in desperate need of self-love and healing my life is now great and I feel so privileged to be able to share my experiences with others so you too can avoid burnout and understand how to thrive sustainably.

What belief, lies in your subconscious that could lead you to burnout? 😳
Could it be Perfectionism….? 😳
There are dangers of Being Perfectionistic, for me it was driven by internal beliefs. Have you ever heard this quote before?
“If a job’s not done right, it’s not worth doing!”
When we have the desire to be perfect, we are usually avoiding the feelings of failure or harsh judgment or criticism.
Often, we don’t realize we are being perfectionistic because it evolved as a result of an event or circumstance where we felt inadequate and made a subconscious decision to not feel that way again.
We drive ourselves to extremes, always striving for the best, to get to the top of the mountain for example but we never get there.
Why? Because there is no such thing as perfect and by striving and trying and trying it can lead to burnout, stress and overwhelm,

Do you know what makes you happy and what fills your personal love tank? 😧
A little while back, I was in a perpetual state of overwhelm, stress and anxiety and I felt exhausted. I woke up every exhausted and some days I would go to bed after work at 6pm. And as a result, I didn’t really participate in choosing or deciding activities or how I spent my free time. I thought I had no choices. 😭
I thought I had a sense of duty and that was my role in life. Essentially, I had numbed out, lost my sense of desire, and the sense of need and want. And I did this because I believed my needs would never be met, so why want. If I didn’t want the pain and hurt of not receiving or getting was less. 😲
When we have become unaware of our thoughts needs desire and wants, there is no chance they will ever get fulfilled, and that’s when we are operating from an empty cup, we are depleted and running on low, basically we are out of gas. 😲
In order to fill our tanks and be able to function from a place of creation and expansion and have the energy to fulfill our wants and needs we must ask ourselves what do I love to do, what activities bring me joy? What lights me up? 😍
To help me on this quest of filling and keeping my love tank full I started keeping a list, anytime I felt need, want or desire. 😊
So, my question for you is do you know what fills your tank and are you fulfilling your desires so that you can operate in the world with a sense of creation and expansion where your cup is full, and complete with overflowing love? Pop them in the comments below and lets have a conversation. 😊
