Taking a well deserved semi break from work - the work never stops when you run your own business eh!

41 years old. Mum of two. 30 minute home workouts!

Full transparency….this is Day 1 of an all inclusive. The light is incredible, I feel amazing, and I’m fully aware that by Day 4 after the cocktails and the buffet… these shots may not look quite the same 😂🍹 So I’m capturing this moment while I can, because that’s real life. We have our best days AND our bloated-on-holiday days and both are valid. 🙌

Every single result you’re looking at was built around school runs, football Sundays, dance competitions, and whatever chaos the week threw at me. So I’m tired of the narrative that if you’re not in a gym, you’re not doing enough. 🙅‍♀️

Home workouts vs the gym — the real comparison for busy mums:

🏋️‍♀️ Gym = travel time, parking, waiting for equipment, childcare to arrange, a bag to pack, performing in public

🏠 Home = press play, get it done, be back on the sofa with a cuppa in under 45 minutes
Neither is wrong. But one of them actually fits your life.

And here’s the stuff that actually moves the needle:
💪🏼 I have been training with heavier weights recently. I have got stronger and I’m allowing my body to push more in my workouts by lifting heavier.
💧 Water…2 litres a day for me. Skin, energy, hunger cues. Non-negotiable.
🍽️ A gentle calorie deficit….not starving, not obsessing. Food I enjoy, in amounts that work FOR me.
😴 Sleep….the underrated one. Poor sleep = stress = your body holding onto weight. Rest IS part of the programme.
⏱️ 30 minutes….consistent, purposeful, done.

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being consistent with things that are actually sustainable in your real, busy, beautiful life. And THIS is exactly what we do inside the LKB Membership. 30 mins! Full body. Dumbbells are great if you have them. Otherwise some water bottles or tins or beans will do. 😘

I’ll be honest with you. Six weeks ago I was stood in my bedroom staring at my summer wardrobe thinking “nothing fits right and I don’t feel like me.”

Not because I’d let myself go. Not because I don’t know what I’m doing. Just because life got busy, I’d lost my routine, and I’d stopped prioritising myself.

Sound familiar? 👀

So I did what I tell my ladies to do. I started. I showed up. I stopped waiting for the “right time” (spoiler: it never comes). Half a stone down, six weeks later, and I’m posting bikini pics on the internet at 41. 👙

Because feeling good in your body this summer IS possible. You just need a plan, a community, and someone in your corner.
