Feeling incredibly proud and grateful to have been given the opportunity to paint a wall on Chelmsford market t the brilliant , in my hometown.

My piece is rooted in community. Inspired by Chelmsford Parkrun, one of the biggest in the UK, built entirely on people showing up for each other every single weekend. A movement that’s not just changed lives physically and mentally, but is also quietly saving the NHS millions through prevention, connection and wellbeing.

And a little nod to my friends at Springfield Striders too, celebrating an amazing 40 years this year. A club that’s welcomed, supported and inspired so many runners over the decades.

Thanks so much to for the excellent photos and keeping me company in those cold evenings!

Last day of today, and what a week it has been. I honestly feel so privileged to have played a small part in this incredible street art festival. And if you’d like to come and see any of the amazing murals around the city centre, you can still come and collect your map from us in or find it on the website.

Today, I’ve been showing the talented artist .anne.henry around the murals and introducing her to fellow artists painting across the city. Anne is from our twin city of Annonay In France 🇫🇷. I was very happy for her to make her mark on our “where is home” map

I feel so proud of Chelmsford and our thriving creative community.

Yesterday was all about creativity, community and bringing Chelmsford’s streets to life for

It was amazing to see the live window murals painted by and come together as part of the SPARK! Concrete Canvas reimagined Street Party celebrations. These designs were inspired by the ideas and artwork developed through the Skate Create workshops led by local artists Jennifer Flint () and Elaine Tribley.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, watched, supported and shared the day with us and to the brilliant artists who transformed the windows into vibrant works of art in real time.
