We had a special visitor pop into our Broomfield Hospital Nursery recently, and the children were so excited! π¦πΈπ
They learned all about road safety. From traffic lights to crossing the road safely, with fun, hands-on activities that kept everyone fully involved.
Such a great way for our little learners to learn important safety skills!

Across our nurseries, our team and parents have been donating lots of goodies for our charity partner, . These contributions will be shared with families in need throughout Essex, spreading warmth and support to those who need it most.
Throughout October, the children took part in so many fun activities to celebrate the Harvest Festival. This included, making lots of different crafts, reading about sharing and kindness, cooking activities and so much more!
We want to say a massive thank you to those who have donated. Your generosity will have a huge impact on families across Essex. Together, we're making a massive difference!

Jackson had a blast with an activity that mixed art and science! π¨π¬
His key person set up a big tray with baking powder in the centre and small bowls of colourful water. Jackson used a spoon to pour the coloured water onto the powder, and he excitedly predicted what would happen next. As the water hit the powder, it started fizzing up! π§ͺ
Jackson loved watching the reaction and then used a paintbrush to make fun designs in the fizzy powder. So much fun! πβ¨

In Orange room, the children have been having a wonderful time learning about their own emotions and understanding the feelings of others! π₯°
Henry has found this really interesting and has been exploring emotions with his key person using emotion puppets.
Henry loved wearing the different puppets and practising various facial expressions to represent different emotions. This fun activity helps him understand what he's feeling and recognise emotions in others too.π
Great work Henry! π

Ava has had lots of fun enjoying the sunshine in our outdoor classroom! βοΈ
She especially loved playing peekaboo with her key person in the cosy pod. Peekaboo is not just fun, it also helps children to grow their social and emotional skills.
Ava's key person played cooperative games with her, helping her learn about building friendships and taking turns.
Looks like you had great fun, Ava! π

Arlo had loads of fun improving his dragon maths skills with a brilliant ice cream activity! ππ¦
He took on the challenge of matching number numerals on the ice cream cones and then counted out the correct number of scoops to place on each one.
This fun and engaging activity helped Arlo to understand number values and recognise numbers better π’
Well done, Arlo! ππ
