🎸 ROCKSTARS IN THE MAKING! 🎤
We had the absolute best day today as the incredible team from Rocksteady Music School took over our school hall and turned our pupils into bona fide rock gods!
From bass guitars and keyboards to roaring vocals and steady drumbeats, the children formed their very own live rock bands. The energy, confidence, and pure talent on display was off the charts.
..And of course, the teachers couldn’t resist getting in on the action either! (We might have a few secret rockstars in the staff room! 👀🤘)
Thinking your child might want to rock out every week? Check your recent ClassDojo message for all the details on how to sign them up for these amazing music lessons starting this September. Spaces fill up fast, so don’t miss out!

If you’re in Chelmsford over the weekend and the holiday please put a token into our slot. Every little certainly helps. This is to create a sensory room to support our children’s emotional regulation. Thanks everyone and please do spread the word.

So proud of our children. Our eldest members of the pupil leadership team spoke about one of our Trust values Compassion this week at a prestigious Trust event. They spoke eloquently and from the heart about our amazing school.

✨ Voices for Equality: Year 5 Takes a Stand! ✨
Our Year 5 students recently completed an incredibly moving two-day Voices for Equality programme. It’s been a journey of history, empathy, and powerful creative action. 🕊️✍️
🗓️ Day 1: Learning from the Past
We delved into the life of Anne Frank, exploring her diary and the realities of the discrimination she faced. It was a somber but vital day of learning, helping our students understand the historical impact of prejudice and the importance of never staying silent.
🗓️ Day 2: Designing the Future
On the second day, the focus shifted to the present. Our students reflected on the prejudice they see in their own communities today. We were blown away by their passion as they developed creative responses to tackle inequality head-on!
🎨 Creative Highlights
The classroom was a hub of activism! Our young change-makers produced:
• Powerful Speeches: Calling for kindness and inclusion.
• Stunning Art Pieces: Symbolising unity and hope.
• Impactful Posters: Practical ways to stand up against bullying and bias.
“Paper has more patience than people.” – Anne Frank
We are so proud of our Year 5s for using their voices to build a more equal world. Swipe to see some of their incredible work! ➡️
