Although I moved to Suffolk, I have been back to Essex every couple of weeks to work on this project. Come and say Hi or visit any time. We are looking for local residents to respond creatively to the Boreham Stone Circle for a future exhibition

Thanks to all my lovely followers and to those have participated in my classes. I have now moved to Suffolk and loving the slower pace of life. I am still working on my own projects in a little studio in Yoxford. Really looking forward to being part of an incredibly active art community here. You can follow on my Billie Bond Sculpture page.

To celebrate Women’s History Month, we will be highlighting women throughout our Collection who have made their mark on history through their professional accomplishments and NOT their relationship to men.

Our will draw inspiration from one of our latest publications, Women at Work: 1900 to Now, which reveals research and new acquisitions from the National Portrait Gallery and CHANEL Culture Fund project, Reframing Narratives: Women in Portraiture.

Starting with a new acquisition of Dame Mary Beard, the English classicist and author. In 2017, she published her feminist classic Women & Power: A Manifesto, which explores modern gender politics while also highlighting women of the past whose stories have until now been silenced.

All ready for tomorrow’s family mug making workshop. If you have 5-6 people to fill a class, you can choose your own date. The make a mug class is one morning, the work is glazed and fired for you. An object you can use every day.

Another collection of pet portraits completed from the last class. All made by complete beginners with my step-by-step method of hand-building with clay. I then fire and mount them ready for collection. Next class Sunday 21 January
