Early start today Colchester with Essex Music service; singing dancing and acting our way through the next two days.

I'm excited to start working with Essex Music Service Musical Theatre Club at on Tuesdays 5.30 - 7.30. If you are aged 11 - 18 and love Musical Theatre then it would be great to see you at the monthly sessions on Tuesday 20th May, 10th June and 1st July.

I have started a leader training course with and I am excited to see where this new chapter of discovery will take me.

I had a transformative singing experience at a session in Colchester lead by .kate and experienced the “magic” of female A Capella group singing. It was a supportive, non judgemental liberating experience that reminded me of the historical roots of community group singing. Since then I have attended the London gatherings and finally took the decision to train to become a leader so that other women can experience the magic. ✨

I have had a wonderful day celebrating young voices. It really is the highlight of the spring term hearing students from various primary schools in Essex come together after a couple of months practice for one hours rehearsal, with a band, to then sing to their family and friends.

What a wonderful week of music making for our young people!

I have known the writer, composer and lyricist for more years than I can remember. We have spent many runs along the canal talking about the story line of . I have heard about the developments over the last 3 years and I was so proud to see it come to life on stage

A cast of 5 actor musicians tell two incredible RNLI stories, reminding the audience of the extreme courage they have to rescue people every day at coasts and rivers across the UK.

This weekend I had the privilege of singing with an amazing group of humans in conducted by my dear friend

It has been such a highlight of my week singing with this group, making new friends sharing highs and lows. It’s more than just performing, it’s self care, it’s community, it’s family, it’s feel good, it’s life.

I am so proud of my mum for also taking on the challenging of learning all the songs in one term. She suffered a stroke about 2.5 years ago and has had made amazing progress. She is the definition of determination and proof that you can truly can do anything you put your mind to!

We are celebrating the first year of Chelmsford Musical Theatre Choir with a concert at the Cramphorn Theatre on Sunday 14th July. Come and join us for just over an hours worth of songs from the shows arranged and lead by my wonderful friend Sarah de Cruz.

Shows at 3pm and 6.30pm (so you are able to watch the footie as well 😆)

Boys! Young Expressions needs you 🫵🏼

We currently have cast spaces available for boys aged 8-14 years at Young Expressions. We're a local youth theatre group and we're just starting rehearsals for our summer show, which is a big hit West End musical, so it's a fantastic time to join!

We meet on Sunday mornings at Ingatestone Community Centre.
