Our annual NHVS Strawberry Tea was a joyful occasion, celebrating the fantastic work of our New Hall Voluntary Service. Elderly guests, who join us each week during term time for social lunches, enjoyed a quintessentially British afternoon tea, with entertainment provided by our musicians and dancers. We were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Essex, Mrs Susie Dutton, for the Strawberry Tea, as well as a talk with our Year 9 students about the importance of volunteering. We wish all our guests and volunteers a wonderful summer, as we await our reunion in September!

We were delighted to welcome Old Fish Joanna Scanlan, BAFTA award-winning actress, who reminisced about her time at New Hall, and inspired the Class of 2026 for the future.

One of our sweetest traditions is the Pre-School End of Year Celebration. Children received their 'diplomas' from Mrs Jeffrey, Principal, and the Head of Nursery, Mrs Baines, before going down the Nursery garden's slide one last time and enjoying a picnic. It was a beautiful way to celebrate their time at the Nursery with their families and say goodbye as they move up to the Pre-Prep Division.

Our thanksgiving Mass was a joyful conclusion to the academic year, bringing together all in Years 3-13! We said farewell to Fr Martin, one of our Priest Chaplains, as he takes up his new role as Dean of Norwich Cathedral. Over the past seven years, Fr Martin has been a wonderful friend and spiritual guide to our community, and has been at the heart of the development of our wonderful Chaplaincy Team.
