The final day of the academic year is here and a time for transition for our children leaving us to move on to to the next stage of their education and those moving up to Big Woodcroft from Little Woodcroft.
This is always a sad time for us as we say goodbye to children who we have had the pleasure to help flourish during their time with us and parents who we have had the opportunity to develop strong and trusting relationships with. But it is at this time that we can offer our thanks to you for choosing Woodcroft and for giving us the opportunity to work in partnership with you and your wonderful children.
It is also a time for myself and governors to thank the staff for all the love, care and education they have provided to your child and for always going the extra mile to make a difference.
On behalf of myself and all the staff we would like to offer our sincere thanks for all the wonderful gifts, cards, chocolates, flowers and kind words of thanks; you have been very generous.
We are incredibly proud of this cohort of children and their enthusiasm, engagement, creativity and sense of humour; we will miss them greatly. Whether your child is going to a primary school, an infant school, a free school or home schooling, we wish you all the very best of luck as you begin your next exciting adventure. We hope that you have fond memories of your time with us and come back to visit.
For current children who are returning to us, we look forward to welcoming you back from Monday 7th September. We also look forward to welcoming our new children and families to our Woodcroft community as they transition to us in September.
