The CEM exam was used by several grammar schools in the UK to assess students for admission. However, some of these schools are planning to switch from the CEM exam to the GL Assessment exam in the near future.

The GL Assessment exam is similar to the CEM exam in that it assesses a student's skills in verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, and mathematics. However, there are some differences in the format and content of the GL Assessment exam that students should be aware of.

One of the key differences is that the GL Assessment exam has a more structured format than the CEM exam, with a set number of questions for each section and a fixed time limit for each section.

Additionally, the GL Assessment exam includes a wider range of question types, including multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and longer, more complex questions.

To prepare for the switch from the CEM exam to the GL Assessment exam, students should familiarize themselves with the new format and content of the GL Assessment exam.

They can do this by practicing with GL Assessment practice materials and past papers, attending familiarization events or workshops, and seeking advice from teachers or tutors who are familiar with the new exam.
