Butterfly Group have enjoyed a wonderful dance session 'In Space' today; they put on their space suits and pressed the buttons before zooming off in a rocket to visit Jupiter and Mars.
Dance classes offer significant physical, cognitive, and social benefits, improving balance, coordination, and strength while fostering creativity and self-expression. It introduces structure, helps build confidence, and improves focus and memory through music and movement. It also provides a fun, social environment to learn teamwork and emotional regulation.
We cant wait to see what next weeks session brings.

The Essex SEND Local Offer roadshows are in person events/ marketplaces for parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Your child does not need a diagnosis for you to come and get help at a roadshow. You may:
• be new to SEND and unsure what help is available
• feel your child needs help or have questions about the support they already receive
• want to find out what support there is for you as a parent or carer
• not be sure what support you might need

We are looking for an early years practitioner to join our team at St Mary's Playschool, Great Baddow.

Do you have a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, QTS (or equivalent) ?
Do you have a warm, smiling face and the ability to make every child feel special?

About the role

Term time only ( Initially fixed term until July 2026)

Hours: 3 - 18 hours per week ( call/email to discuss)

Mornings : 8.45 - 12.00 (1.00) 2-4 mornings per week (negotiable)
