Half term is also the perfect opportunity to keep a little daily routine going. Even just a small amount of Kumon each morning helps students stay focused, motivated, and confident while still enjoying their holiday. 📚✨

Sitting in the lobby waiting for the transfer to the airport with my coffee, laptop, and notebook in front of me, I started reflecting on the ideas and mindset shifts that I’ll be taking home with me from these past few days 💙📘.

Three messages in particular really stayed with me:

✨ Be brave.
✨ We love our mistakes.
✨ Give it a try… or you will never know.

And interestingly, these messages were not only about our students — they were also about us as instructors and educators.

Sometimes growth requires us to step outside our own comfort zone too. To trust our students’ abilities even more. To be brave with the work we set. To try new ideas and approaches. To challenge limits — both theirs and our own.

Because if we always stay with what feels safe and familiar, we may never discover what our students are truly capable of achieving.

One of the biggest things I’m taking away from this conference is the reminder that mindset matters so much. Confidence, resilience, courage to try, willingness to make mistakes and keep going — these are the things that help children grow not only academically, but personally too.

Feeling very inspired, reflective, and motivated after these few days in Bucharest, and excited to bring these ideas back into the classroom at Kumon Chelmsford North tomorrow ✨🌍
