Swipe for a little reading magic ✨

Bringing stories to life, one little moment at a time.

Reading together opens up a world of imagination, while helping children build their language, communication and listening skills along the way 💭💛

Because sometimes, a book can inspire so much more than just a story… 🌟

And just like that… it’s time to say goodbye to our Nursery Class! 💛

Across all our nurseries, we’re celebrating the little stars who are ready to take their next big step. While there are definitely a few emotional goodbyes, we couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come, and we can’t wait to see them shine bright wherever their journey takes them! 🌟

Our Gershwin Park Nursery made their celebration extra special with an ✨ under the sea ✨ themed party, filled with plenty of magical memories to treasure. 🐚🧜‍♀️💙

Here’s to the next adventure, little ones! 🌈

One of our little superheroes was getting ready for his final day at Seymour House, so we made sure his farewell was one to remember! 🕷️🦸‍♂️

With his love for Spider-Man inspiring the theme, our maths activity became a superhero adventure full of numbers, problem-solving and fun! 🔢🕸️❤️

Some of the most meaningful moments at nursery are the simplest ones 💛

Because it’s these little moments that make childhood so special, and the memories we hope they’ll carry with them. ✨

Messy play might look like a bit of chaos… but there’s actually a LOT going on behind the scenes! ✨

When children are mixing, scooping, pouring, squishing and experimenting, they’re building skills that support their development in so many different ways.

👐 Fine motor skills: Scooping, pouring and mixing help strengthen little hands and develop hand-eye coordination.
💬 Communication & language: Messy play gives children plenty to talk about, describing textures, asking questions and learning new words as they explore.
🧮 Early maths: Concepts like more, less, above, below, next to and full and empty become much easier to understand when children can experience them for themselves.
🤝 Social skills: Playing alongside others encourages children to share, communicate, take turns and enjoy exploring together.
🧠 Cause & effect: What happens when we add water? What changes when we mix two things together? Messy play turns children into little scientists, encouraging them to test, predict and discover.
💛 Emotional regulation: The sensory nature of messy play can be calming and give children a chance to explore different sensations at their own pace.

So yes, there might be paint on the floor, water everywhere and very questionable-looking mixtures… but there’s also a whole lot of learning happening! 🌈

Our little ones had so much fun making bird cakes for the birds to enjoy, all while learning that even the smallest acts of kindness can help look after nature.

It's all part of our Go Green Curriculum, where we encourage children to explore the outdoors, care for wildlife and build little habits that can make a big difference as they grow 🌍🌱

We love watching their excitement when they spot birds enjoying the treats they've made, there's nothing quite like seeing learning come to life! ✨

Featuring our Family Cubes! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒💗

Our Family Cubes are a little piece of home that children can keep close whilst they are learning at nursery 🥰

Being able to spot a familiar face can bring comfort and reassurance, while seeing themselves and the people who are important to them helps build a strong sense of self, belonging and connection 💕

Across our nurseries, we’ve been getting wonderfully wacky to raise money for our amazing charity partner, Home-Start Essex 🤪🌈✨

We joined in with their Wacky Wardrobe Day, giving our children and teams the perfect excuse to embrace their wildest outfits, mismatched socks and craziest hairstyles! 🧦🎀👗

There were plenty of giggles, lots of creativity and, most importantly, money raised to support the incredible work of Home-Start Essex 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make the day so much fun! 🌟

Our School & Beyond bundles are packed with a whole collection of fun, hands-on activities, all designed to help little learners build confidence and develop skills for school and beyond 🎒✨

This video gives you a little peek at just one of the activities included: Dragon Maths & Kaida’s Challenge! 🐲🔢

From counting and problem-solving to teamwork and confidence, it’s a fun way to get children learning without it feeling like learning.

And that’s just one activity! There’s plenty more to discover inside the bundles 🥳

There’s something so exciting about planting a tiny cress seed and watching it turn into something green and leafy in just a few days! 💚

Growing cress is a simple way for children to explore the world around them while developing patience, curiosity and a sense of responsibility. From scooping and sprinkling to watering and checking for those first little shoots, every step is a chance to learn through hands-on play 🙌

We love watching their faces light up when they spot their very first sprout! 🌱
