It’s always a privilege to be part of a students journey and to be able to offer these experiences and we hope we’ve given you lots to think about for your future careers!

Are you thinking of toilet training your little one but not sure where to start? We have some top tips!
- Start little and often, try at routine times (after meals, before bed)
- Praise every effort, not just successes
- Accidents are part of learning, so stay calm and positive
- Practise independence, pulling trousers up/down and handwashing
- Team up with nursery or childcare so everyone is consistent in their approach

Children love growing plants and love being involved in the garden but they’re often impatient, wanting to see instant results! National Children’s Gardening Week takes place annually in the ‘warm’ week at the end of May as this is the time that captures children's enthusiasm for growing with super quick results. Happy Friday everyone and happy half term too!

This week we were very lucky to host students from Chelmer Valley High School, they were BRILLIANT and we were lucky to have them!

We are very privileged to work with children and families at the start of a child’s education but we’re also fortunate enough to be able to continue that work with our local primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities too!

At Tanglewood, it’s not just about being there at the start of a child’s education, it’s about finding ways to support and inspire throughout their education and beyond to their careers.

Some of these students, started their journey at Tanglewood and who knows they could be teaching future generations one day!
