Stephen Mansell, Executive Headteacher at The Boswells School, said: “Today is a day of immense pride for our entire school community. Our Year 11’s outstanding GCSE results are a testament to the dedication, resilience and ambition shown across the entire cohort, all of whom have worked incredibly hard throughout their studies. They should be enormously proud of what they have achieved.

“I would also like to recognise and thank the hard work of our exceptional staff, whose unwavering commitment, expertise and care has supported our young people every step of the way. Equally, I also want to express my sincere thanks to our parents and carers. Your encouragement has made an integral difference, and these achievements reflect the strength of our school community working together. We celebrate every student's success today, whatever their individual journey, and look forward to welcoming back many familiar faces to our Sixth Form in September.”

Building superstars 👷

Well done to our Year 7s and 8s for their participation in the Kier Group PLC Tower Building Challenge - look at them in action!

Over the past few weeks, our Year 9s and 10s have been digging into the world of construction through Morgan Sindall’s Building a Lasting Legacy Programme. The group have been on site at their work experience placements, learning more about what employment in the Construction sector and Civil engineering could look like.

We can’t wait to hear how they have been getting on. Thank you, Kier Group PLC and Morgan Sindall!

Three schools have launched a five-year programme introducing young people to construction.
