Leela was quite shy, she didn't have lots of confidence and was always unsure of herself.

Leela has had lots of highs while being here. She has had amazing character development, she now calls herself a Warrior Princess! Her confidence has been boosted so much but even if she does get nervous all she has to do is look at Instructor Leigh and she can refocus herself and is ok.

Tadi-Mai was very shy and nervous in new situations. We had began to notice that she didn't like being around large groups of people.

Tadi-Mai has improved so much, not only technically but also with her confidence. She now trains in the Fight Squad programme and we have noticed how much that has helped bring her out of her shell. Tadi-Mai has made so many new friends, the bonds they form here are very special!

I remember feeling very scared when i first started class. I was shy, quiet, and didn't have much balance.

Really good! Sometimes i don't want to come after a long day at school but I push myself to and I always leave feeling better and safer in the world. I was very scared of sparring at first but i quickly got used to it and that has helped my confidence a lot.

I have noticed that my balance is better, i have got stronger, and way more confident!

I was really shy and nervous for my first few classes but i had seen my brother doing his classes before and i knew it was something that i wanted to do too. After the first feeling of being scared, I really enjoyed the classes and have had loads of fun!
