Yesterday, three of our IT learners, Daniel, Tyler and Angeline, competed in the annual Sharp Competition, held at Sharp's new London office!

This year's challenge focused on AI, with learners pitching their own agentic AI concepts to a panel of judges following presentations from the Sharp team on the evolution of artificial intelligence.

We're very proud to announce that our Student Governor, Daniel Holland, won first place and a brand-new Apple MacBook for his College Buddy idea. Tyler took second place and a £150 Amazon voucher for his front of house assistant chatbot, while Angeline was awarded third place and a £100 Amazon voucher for her SkillSync application.

Both our staff and the Sharp team were genuinely impressed by the learners' professionalism, skills and confidence as they pitched and demonstrated their applications live.

Congratulations to all three learners on an outstanding achievement! 👏
