A massive well done to our Year Five pupils, who performed their assembly yesterday, based on The Lion King. They went to see The Lion King in London earlier this year and the show clearly made an impression on them!

We were so lucky to have Father Christmas and his glamorous helpers in school yesterday! Everyone had the chance to come for a visit and receive an early Christmas present!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas assembly this morning and a big well done to Mrs Pedrick, Mrs Murray, Mr Tilsley and Mr Saunders for being such great sports for taking part in the dress-up / present wrapping challenge!

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have two professional footballers attend our after-school KS1 football club for a Q&A session!

Our Christmas Bazaar was a fantastic success and thank you to everyone who organised, helped and attended!

We've been loving our class visits to the Wilderness Foundation in Chatham Green this term to explore and learn in nature 🌿

Our pupils have been doing all sorts of activities, such as pond dipping, den building and bug hunting - check out this beautiful butterfly made by our Year 3 class using natural materials.

We were so pleased to welcome everyone back for the final half term of the school year this week. We were also delighted to welcome Paul Sturgess into school for a basketball workshop will all year groups. Paul is a former professional basketball player with the Harlem Globetrotters and is currently the UK's tallest person! Everyone had a great day and have been keen to show off their basketball skills in the playground this week!

Well done to all of our pupils - this has been a long half term and your attitude to learning has been fantastic! Have a relaxing week off and we'll see you all on the 4th November when we will be welcoming Jamie Knight for freestyle football workshops for each year group and a special assembly and masterclass session.

Fantastic artwork in Year 4 as part of the River Landscapes unit of study!

Great to see some of the superb art work in Year 3 on the Art Deco unit of study inspired by Clarice Cliff. We're looking forward to seeing the final pieces of art over the next two weeks.

The new redesign of the school library is taking shape! A mystical forest with some amazing books to read this Autumn term!

So lovely to see all our pupils back at school this morning and a huge welcome to all of our new starters!
