Come and see Jesters at the Bicknacre Festival of Priory Fields (CM3 4ES) this Saturday starting at 1.30pm, with live music continuing until 20:00.

Oh what fun we've had at the Farm! 🚜

Today we visited for an animal experience! We met the rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas, goats and mini Shetland ponies and learnt all about their diets and how to look after them.
Once all of the animals had full bellies it was time for us to be fed, so we headed to the park for a picnic.
Finally we ended the day on the wibbly wobbly slides!

They took the camera and explored the garden using a variety of angles, depths and a mixture of candid and posed subjects to create these fabulous photos.

Happy 100th Birthday Sir David Attenborough 🎈

This week we have been celebrating the most successful and influential wildlife film maker of our time in the lead up to his centennial birthday.
Since 1952 Sir David Attenborough has dedicated his life to bringing the natural world and all of its wonders to our TV screens, with shows such as Blue Planet and David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet. 🦍
Throughout his career he has had over 50 newly discovered and extinct species and and organisms named after him, along with research vessels and whale shaped constellations. 🐋

To celebrate Sir David Attenborough we have been watching some of our favourite episodes from his extensive collection and learning more about the creatures that create our planet.

His work in more recent years has focused on how climate change has affected nature stating: “If we can do something about it, then do it. We can do it. We must do it.”
We hope you will join us in celebrating this huge milestone for Sir David Attenborough and of course support his work by doing all you can to protect our planet! 🌍

Over the last couple of weeks we have welcomed our parents and carers into the setting to sit with us and their children to sign our updated social contract.
While we pride ourselves on the outstanding behaviour of our children, we devised this contract to ensure each child, staff member, parent and visitor to Jesters is aware of the expectations.

By asking the children to sign the contracts along with their parents, it allowed for a grown up approach to understanding how an individuals behaviour can affect others and the consequences of those actions. 📝
Some of the children came prepared with a polished and practiced signature, while others took their time developing a new way to write their name.

We are really grateful to be able to build these strong relationships with our children and families and thank you all for taking the time to complete these with us. 🌼
