Reading comprehension questions often require children to order events, identify what happens and explain how ideas develop throughout. Drawing helps children organise and express their ideas visually, making it easier to remember and retell key parts of a story π

SENTENCE CHALLENGE - select a random page in your favourite book π, roll two dice π² and add them. Use that number to identify the corresponding line on the page. Roll again π² this number will provide the word in the line. Write this down. Repeat until you have collected 5-6 random words then see if you can use them ALL to make ONE sentence. Good luck π
