✅ Read the question carefully – underline key information
✅ Use your calculator efficiently and check you’ve entered calculations correctly
✅ Show your working, even on calculator questions
✅ Watch out for units and conversions
✅ If you get stuck, move on and come back later
✅ Estimate your answers to check they are sensible
✅ Make sure you’ve answered every part of the question
✅ Leave a few minutes at the end to check your work

📚 Predicted Paper Walkthrough – Paper 1

I’ll be releasing a 90-minute predicted paper session this week, designed to help students feel fully prepared ahead of their Paper 1 exam.

In the video, I go through a full exam-style paper step-by-step, writing out answers, explaining key methods, and focusing on how to pick up marks and avoid common mistakes. These predicted sessions have been quite accurate in the past, so they’re a really useful revision tool.

I realised it’s been a while since I properly introduced myself on here - and with exams just around the corner, now felt like the perfect time.

I’m Georgia, a maths tutor with nearly 8 years of experience, specialising in helping students build confidence - especially those who feel behind, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start.

With GCSEs and end of year exams coming up in May and June, I know this can be a stressful time for both students and parents - so I’m opening up a few ways I can support over the next couple of months:
