GCSE EXAMS ARE APPROACHING ....

ARE YOU STRESSED?

DON'T PANIC

FOLLOW SIMPLE STEPS

Exams can be a stressful time for many students, but there are several strategies you can use to combat this stress:

1. Start preparing early:

One of the biggest sources of exam stress is feeling unprepared.
By starting your preparation early, you can avoid last-minute cramming and give yourself enough time to absorb the material.

2. Break up your study sessions: (CHUNKING)
It can be challenging to concentrate for extended periods,
so try breaking up your study sessions into smaller,
more manageable blocks of time.

Take regular breaks, stretch, and move around to keep yourself fresh and focused.

3. Get enough sleep:

Lack of sleep can lead to increased stress levels, so make sure you're getting enough rest.
Aim for at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night if possible.

4. Exercise:
Physical activity is an excellent way to reduce stress and boost your mood.
Even a short walk, swimming, or gentle yoga session can help you feel more relaxed and refreshed.

5. Seek support:
Don't be afraid to reach out to family, friends, or a counselor for support during exam season.

Talking through your worries and concerns can be a helpful way to alleviate stress and gain perspective.

Remember, stress is a normal part of life, and everyone experiences it differently.

I am certain that by implementing these strategies, you can help reduce your stress levels
and
feel more confident and prepared to go into your exams.✍️
Hope this helps!
