It was a busy week last week for East Hanningfield Pre-School. The children enjoyed dressing up in all our different costumes. They played with the play-doh using lots of cutters, scissors and rollers. We had a special birthday this week, so some of the children sang happy birthday and had a small piece of cake to celebrate. They also learnt about the cycle of a conker which they cut, stuck and arranged the pictures in the correct order.
All this as well as some amazing crafts, outdoor play with bubbles, bikes and balls, and as always happy children. It was a good week.
Looking forward to see what this week brings.....

With our new BSL posters the children have been practising their different signs. They were all very excited to show us the different emotions they were feeling by using their signs.

Topic this term - Colours
We talked about which each colour made when mixed with another colour. We then painted our hands to show which colours we used and which colour it had made.
The children did such an amazing job we added them to our topics board 🎨

We recently had a visit from a London City police officer for our 'people that help us' topic.
She spoke to the children about what the police do, the different uniform they wear and what number the children need to call if they ever needed.
The children really enjoyed the visit.
