A useful tool to use if you have concerns regarding your child’s speech and language skills/development.

Speech, language and communication progress checker ⭐

Speech and Language UK have created a Progress Checker where you choose the age of the child and then answer the questions.

It should give you an idea of how a baby, child or young person is developing and whether you need some support or advice to help you.

You will also receive helpful resources and guidance after completing the process.

To access the progress checker visit the Speech and Language website: https://progress-checker.speechandlanguage.org.uk/

This week at preschool our theme is Elmer the patchwork elephant 🐘 🌈

The children will be read a variety of Elmer stories from the Elmer series and have the opportunity to create their very own model of Elmer🐘 to take home once completed and dry.

Alongside this our children will be busy making their mummy a Mother’s Day card and making her a special gift too as we will learn about Mother’s Day/Mothering Sunday.
