Writtle Green Pre-School

Hi everyone sorry to have to ask but we are a room within the Beryl Platt Center and although they have air conditioning we don’t unfortunately have it in our pre school room. We are currently trying to keep the children cool in this very hot weather with one small water cooler fan. Can anyone help us out at all? Thank you in advance

Bring the whole family along for an evening of fun, food and community spirit. Enjoy our delicious BBQ, raffle, lucky envelopes, games, stalls and plenty more family friendly activities.

⭐ Entry is just £1 per adult (children attend free), and every penny raised helps us provide valuable resources and opportunities for the children at preschool.

A calm, caring, home from home environment for 2–4 year olds, where children learn through play, explore outdoors and grow in confidence every day.
We’d love to welcome new families into our Writtle Green family 💚

We are so excited to share that our brand new Summer House is now officially open and ready to be enjoyed! ☀️

This beautiful space has been thoughtfully created to support our children in so many ways, whether it’s for focused time with their key person, a calm and relaxing area to unwind, or a dedicated SEN space designed to meet individual needs.
As a charity run preschool, this project truly wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our local community. We are so grateful to the many local businesses and kind individuals who generously donated supplies and resources to help bring this vision to life.
A very special thank you also goes to the two talented artists who travelled to us and created the most wonderful mural the children absolutely love it, and it has already become such a special part of the space.

We feel so proud to be able to offer this to our children and can’t wait to see all the ways it will support their learning, wellbeing, and creativity 💛

It’s National Apprenticeship Week, and we want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing Charlotte!
She truly is a superstar ⭐ Always bringing fabulous ideas, working her socks off in our setting, and giving so much to our children every single day, all while working incredibly hard on her studies too.
