These are countless photos of Tokyo Tower—
a view I cherished for two years from the window of the Japanese teacher training school I attended.
The nightscape after long days of work, the weekend glimpses,
each picture holds memories of the times I strived with dear friends by my side.
Now, those companions have scattered across the globe, shining in their own places.
Tokyo Tower, you filled me with strength✨

At the Paris Olympics, a performance showing love for Japan has become a hot topic. On July 31st, in the men’s team sabre bronze medal match, the host country France defeated Iran to win the bronze medal. The jubilant French fencers showed poses reminiscent of popular Japanese anime Dragon Ball. Many of my students are also big fans of anime. #にほんご #にほんごべんきょう

⭐️Tanabata Festival ⭐️
Tanabata (七夕), also known as the "star festival", takes place on the 7th day of the 7th month of the year, when, according to a Chinese legend, the two stars Altair and Vega, which are usually separated from each other by the milky way, are able to meet.
One popular Tanabata custom is to write one's wishes on a piece of paper, and hang that piece of paper on a specially erected bamboo tree, in the hope that the wishes become true.

Shiritori is the one of the popular word games for the Japanese kids
Shiritori is made up of the words shiri (butt) and tori (to take). This game involves taking the ends of words and creating new words that start with the end word.
If you say a word that ends with ん , you lose. This is because there are no words that start with ん in Japanese. #にほんご

The name literally means 'seasonal division', referring to the day just before the first day of spring in the traditional calendar, known as Setsubun.the first day of spring in the old calendar
Setsubun is widely celebrated across Japan and is one of the favorite traditions of all Japanese children. It’s a day full of bean-throwing, bean-eating and efforts to scare evil away to welcome good fortune.
This year our evil is COVID !
Let’s throw beans to evil COVID and make it go away and wish peaceful fortune will come to the whole world.
You need to shout out when you throw beans.
“Oni wa Soto”(evils away)
“Fuku wa Uchi “( come fortunes )
Kids throw beans against Oni (evil) then throw beans inside the house.
Some area eat Sushi roll called Ehoumaki after throwing beans.
