Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, step-dads, grandads, carers, guardians, and special father figures who love, support, and help our little ones grow every day 💙

Today we celebrate all families, including single parents, blended families, adoptive families, and same-sex parents and the important people who make a positive difference in children’s lives.

Thank you for the encouragement, laughter, cuddles, and memories you create each day.

✨ Cinco de Mayo Celebration! ✨

On the 5th of May, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo here at nursery! 🇲🇽💛

The children had a wonderful time getting hands-on in the kitchen, making their very own guacamole and salsa for snack time 🥑🍅

They helped chop, mix and mash the ingredients, learning all about different foods and flavours along the way.
It was lovely to see everyone so engaged and excited to try something new and of course, enjoy the tasty results together! 😋

Activities like this support children’s independence, fine motor skills and understanding of the world around them 🌎✨

Our hearts just grew a little fluffier 🐣💛

After lots of waiting (and a lot of excitement), our chicks have finally hatched! Watching these tiny, fluffy bundles take their first wobbly steps has been pure magic. From the soft peeps to those curious little eyes, we’re completely in love.

It’s such a special reminder of how incredible new beginnings can be ✨

From soft pastel textures to gentle nature sounds and springtime scents, our little ones had a beautiful time exploring, discovering, and playing together. 🐣🌷

💛 A Little Easter Pick‑Me‑Up at Nursery 💛

This week we held a Mini Awards Celebration at nursery as a small Easter surprise to say thank you and show appreciation to everyone who makes our nursery such a special place 💐

Parents were invited to vote for staff, and staff were encouraged to vote for families, a lovely way to celebrate the strong relationships we share and the amazing community we have 🌈
We were absolutely blown away by the kind nominations from parents.

🥚🐣 The 20-day countdown has begun! 🐣🥚

We’ll be waiting, watching and wondering to see what hatches… 👀✨

Some of our pre-schoolers have been busy sharing their thoughts about what might be hiding inside the egg. 🤔

🦖 A dinosaur?
🐘 Maybe even an elephant?
🐔 But we’re hoping it’s going to be chickens!

Over the next few weeks, the children will be learning all about life cycles, caring for living things and making predictions as we watch our eggs closely. We can’t wait to see the excitement build and to share this very special experience together 💛

What a truly lovely day we’ve had!

Today we were so lucky to have a very special visit from Becky’s Lambs 🐑🌼

The children had a wonderful opportunity to meet the lambs up close, learning how to be gentle and calm while caring for animals.

We talked about the lambs’ bodies, feeling their soft wool and noticing their hooves, faces and tails. The children did an amazing job using soft hands and quiet voices, showing so much kindness and respect 🤍

Experiences like this help children build empathy, confidence and a deeper understanding of the world around them 🌿

A beautiful day filled with curiosity, care and some very fluffy visitors 🥰
