🌟 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Practice Expedition 🌟
What an incredible two days our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students have had on their practice expedition!
We are immensely proud of every student who took part. Throughout the expedition, they demonstrated outstanding resilience, determination, teamwork and a positive attitude, even when faced with challenging conditions and long days of walking. They supported one another, problem-solved independently and showed exactly the kind of character and perseverance that the Duke of Edinburgh Award is designed to develop.
Over the course of the expedition, students successfully navigated routes, carried their own equipment and worked together to overcome every challenge that came their way. Their commitment and maturity have been a credit to themselves, their families and our school.
A huge thank you also goes to the staff and volunteers who supported the expedition and helped make it such a valuable experience for our young people.
We are already looking forward to building on this success and are excited to launch the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award for our new Year 9 students in September. It promises to be another fantastic opportunity for students to develop confidence, independence and lifelong skills through adventure and challenge.
