Congratulations, Carter. We're so pleased to follow your success both in school and on the karting track!

We are incredibly proud of Carter, whose hard work, determination and commitment led to an outstanding set of GCSE results: 1 Grade 9, 5 Grade 8s, 2 Grade 7’s, 2 Grade 6s and 1 Grade 5, including an exceptional Grade 9 in History.
Alongside his academic success, Carter has achieved significant success in karting. Balancing his studies with the training and commitment required to pursue his sporting ambitions is a real testament to his resilience and determination.

Well done, Lily! We're all so proud of you!

Lily’s exceptional hard work, determination and academic talent led to an outstanding set of GCSE results, achieving an incredible 5 Grade 9s, 5 Grade 8s and 1 Distinction.

Achieving Grades 8 and 9 across all of her GCSE subjects is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the consistently high standards Lily demonstrated throughout her time at Painsley Catholic College.

Alongside her academic achievements, Lily has also embraced opportunities to serve others. In Year 10, she travelled to Lourdes, generously giving her time to support pilgrims and playing an active part in this very special experience.

Looking ahead, Lily is excited to continue her studies at A Level, including Chemistry and Mathematics, as she works towards her ambition of studying Chemistry at university.

We are incredibly proud of everything Lily has achieved. Congratulations, Lily!

Wow! You are amazing! This year our school community had raised a staggering £2,341.80 for Dougie Mac!

In addition to this you donated 42 bags to restock the Dougie Mac shops worth potentially another £1680!

Free School Meals Expansion – don’t miss out…
The government have now expanded the criteria for Free school meals. From September 2026 any household that receives Universal Credit can claim free school meals for their child. This could mean a saving of up £505 per year and applies to any household receiving Universal Credit, regardless of your income.

Families who already receive free school meals will continue to do so as long as they meet the new criteria. However, if you are now eligible to claim under the expanded criteria, it is important that you apply as soon as possible.
